ABOUT tender wheat and dry fruits lapsi RECIPE

generally we make lapsi of wheat which we use for normal flour this is the season when we get tender wheat which are green in and little sweet we can eat as it is also they are soft to bite and eat this lapsi was loved my family members its really healthy and do try once if you love sweet,I have added jaggery and dry fruits fruits to this lapsi,have used homemade ghee which enhances the taste of lapsi

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 100 gms of tender wheat
  2. 50 gms of jaggery
  3. 50 grams of mixed dried fruits (cashewnuts,walnuts,almonds)
  4. 1 tsp of raisins
  5. 1/2 tsp of cardmom powder
  6. 1 tsp of ghee
  7. 1&1/2 cup of water

Instructions

  1. wash and dry tender wheat for 10 minutes
  2. grind it coarsely in mixer grinder
  3. add ghee to a nonstick pan
  4. add grinded wheat
  5. saute for 2 minutes,do not saute more otherwise wheat looses its tenderness
  6. add 1&1/2 cup of water
  7. cover with lid and cook till wheat absorbs water and became dry
  8. now add jaggery
  9. as soon as jaggery melts add cardmom powder
  10. mix and add dried fruits
  11. mix properly and add raisins
  12. it is ready to serve
  13. serve hot with breakfast
