CHIKKI

Ingredients to make CHIKKI

  • peanuts - 2 cup
  • jaggery/gur - 1 cup
  • clarified butter - 1 tsp

How to make CHIKKI

  1. Roast dry peanuts in a pan for 7 - 8 mins in a low flame.
  2. Remove the skin of the peanuts.
  3. Heat jaggery/gur and clarified butter in a pan.
  4. Stir continuously on a low flame until jaggery gets thick consistency.
  5. Now add roasted peanuts and constantly stir till the peanuts mixed with jaggery
  6. Turn off the flame
  7. Spread the oil on a plate and pour the mixture
  8. When cool break it.
