Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 1 big bowl organic jaggery powder
  2. 2-3 tbsp poppy seeds
  3. 1 small bowl dried grated coconut
  4. 1 medium bowl chopped dryfruits (almonds, cashews, raisins and pistachios)
  5. 1 medium bowl lotus seeds/ makhana
  6. 1 small bowl dink
  7. 500 gms desi ghee
  8. 100 gms dry ginger powder

Instructions

  1. take jaggery powder in a mixing bowl, if you r using jaggery blocks break it and chop it as fien as you can...if you want u can also microwave it for few seconds so that it becomes softer...
  2. dry roast poppy seeds on a low heat till it starts to crackle, then add it to the mixing bowl
  3. take 2-3 tbsp ghee in a pan. add the grated coconut, roast it on a low heat till it turns light golden. keep stiring continously, then add it to the mixing bowl
  4. again take 2-3 tbsp ghee in the same pan add the chopped dried fruits except raisins, roast the dryfruits till it turns light golden...at the last add the raisins roast for few seconds then add this too to the mixing bowl.
  5. now add the remaining ghee in the pan, let it get medium hot then add dink. fry till it tuns golden brown. remove it in a pan, when it cools down roughly crush it and add it to the mixing bowl.
  6. in the ramaining ghee fry the lotus seeds till it turns crispy. take it in a plate, let it cool down. roughly crush it then add it to the mixing bowl.
  7. add the left over desi ghee if any. add the dry ginger powder...now mix all the ingredients well...take small portions of the mixture in you palm and star binding laddoos...delicious gud ke laddoo is ready..
