This is eaten specially in winters, very famous roti of Chattisgarh

Chathisgarh ka Angakar roti

Ingredients to make Chathisgarh ka Angakar roti

  • Cooked left over rice- one cup
  • rice flour- 1 cup
  • Chopped onions- 1/2 cup
  • Chopped green chillies- 3
  • Chopped coriander leaves- 1/2 a bunch
  • water- to mix
  • salt- to taste
  • oil- to cook the rotis
  • dahi- 1 cup
  • Black salt- little

How to make Chathisgarh ka Angakar roti

  1. Mash the rice nicely
  2. Add rice flour, mix well
  3. Now add chopped onions, green chillies, coriander leaves and salt
  4. Slightly sprinkle water and mix the dough, dough will be firm and soft.
  5. Heat a tawa
  6. Apply oil or touch water onto your hands and take a big ball
  7. Pat the ball either directly on tawa or pat it on a wet cloth
  8. After patting put roti on to the tawa and cook
  9. Turn the other side and add some oil all over
  10. When it is cooked well, serve hot with pickle, chutney of your choice or even plain dahi with black salt.

My Tip:

You can add even grated carrots , cabbage for extra taste and roti will be more healthy
