Green peas are readily available in winters. It is added in each and every vegetable you make. But one thing more can be made out of it , that is its paratha or poori.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Green peas
  2. Garlic
  3. Ginger
  4. Maida
  5. Ajwain
  6. Salt
  7. Oil


  1. Saute the green peas in little oil, along with garlic, ginger, salt, Mash them and allow it cool.
  2. Meanwhile, make a dough of maida with ajwain, little salt, oil and water.
  3. Make small round balls of maida, fill the pea stuffing and press each of them.
  4. Deep fry them on medium flame. Turn the side and cook till golden brown.
  5. Crispy matar kachori is ready. Serve with ketchup or chutney.
