ABOUT Walnut Kaju Halwa RECIPE

This halwa is specially made in winter and rastey and yumme.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup /200 gms walnut
  2. 1 cup cashewnut approxi-200 gms
  3. 1/2 cup/100 gms ghee
  4. 1 cup /200 gms sugar
  5. 1 tsp elaichi powder

Instructions

  1. Walnut and cashewnut soaked in water in two different bowl.
  2. And grind in a mixi jar to coarsely paste.
  3. Mix sugar and water make sugar syrup.
  4. Add walnut-kaju paste and mix well.
  5. Stir continuously till the mixture thickens.
  6. Add ghee and continue simmering on a slow flame and cook mixture leaves the sides of the pan.
  7. Add elaichi powder and pour into a serving bowl.
  8. Garnish with pista, almond and walnut.
