Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Carrot 9 red medium sized
  2. 6 tbsp ghee
  3. 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
  4. 1 cup sugar
  5. 100 grams of mawa
  6. 1 cup dry fruits chopped of your choice
  7. 1 spoon of poppy seeds
  8. 2 tbsp fresh cream


  1. wash,peel and grate carrots
  2. keep ready all your ingredients
  3. in heavy bottom pan heat ghee
  4. add grated carrot in it
  5. cook on medium heat for 4 to 5 minutes
  6. now add sugar into the carrot
  7. cook till all the moisture in carrots which is created due to sugar is evaporated. (It will take 7 to 8 mins)
  8. Now add in all other indgridients together and cook till everything becomes soft and mushy .( 9 to 10 mins)
  9. And the ghee is released from the halwa.
  10. Your halwa is ready to serve.
