ABOUT Hot Steamed Rice balls RECIPE

Its a healthy steamed recipe with rice powder...n can be relished hot or cold anytime

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Rice 300 gms(normal any type)
  2. Salt
  3. Chana dal soaked 2 tdsp
  4. Jeera
  5. Coconut grated 1/4 cup(optional)
  6. A tsp coconut of oil
  7. Water 600 ml or if one cup rice powder then double quantity water thats 2 cups

Instructions

  1. Grind rice coarsely in a mixer n soak chana dal n keep aside
  2. Now heat a pan n pour double quantity of water after checking the grinded rice powder generally its 1:2 ratio..whatever quantity rice and add chana dal,jeera n bring to a boil
  3. Now when boiling add salt,grated coconut n oil n rice powder..stir for two minutes till it becomes a thick consistency n cook half..n turn off gas
  4. Now when little cool make balls when mixture is still hot...n then steam. ..for 12-15 minutes..
  5. Your steamed yummy balls are ready to eat..just like that or with ur favourite coconut chutney or any u like
