ABOUT Homemade Chocolate Nut Balls RECIPE

Superbly delicious, melt in mouth balls.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Unsalted butter : 100 g
  2. Milk : 2 tbsp
  3. Powdered Sugar : 1 cup (100 g)
  4. Cocoa powder : 3 tbsp
  5. Chocolate essence : 1/2 tbsp
  6. Polo mint : 1 small or 8 pcs..crushed
  7. Peanuts : 1/2 cup (50 g) roasted and peeled and crushed coarsely
  8. Almonds : 1/2 cup crushed coarsely
  9. Homemade chocolate balls : 2 grated or chocolate chips : 2 tbsp
  10. Nutella spread : 1 tbsp (optional)
  11. Choco cornflakes : 1/2 cup
  12. Honey : 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. In a heavy bottomed pan add butter, milk, cocoa and sugar.
  2. Keep it on slow flame, stirring continuously till butter melts and sugar dissolves completely. Switch off the flame.
  3. Now add grated chocolate balls or chocolate chips or dairy milk chocolate which ever you are using.
  4. Add polo mint. Mix well.
  5. Add nutella spread and mix well. Keep on slow flame for 4-5 mins. Keep stirring, switch off the flame. Keep aside to cool.
  6. Now add honey and chocolate essence. Mix well.
  7. Now add peanut and almonds. Mix well.
  8. Now add choco cornflakes. Mix well. Transfer it to another bowl, cover and keep in the fridge, till thick.
  9. When it gets thick, rub little oil on hands and make balls from the thick chocolate and cover each ball in foil or cling film.
  10. Keep it in air tight jar in freezer.
  11. Homemade chocolate nut balls are ready to serve.
