Ingredients Serving: 12

  1. 1 cup uraddal dal
  2. 1 cup gheuka atta
  3. 2 cups jaggery
  4. 1/2 cup almonds
  5. 1/2 cup cashewnuts
  6. 1/4 cup raisins
  7. 2 tbsp Khus khus
  8. 1/2 cup kharik/dry dates powder
  9. 1/2 cup grated dry coconut
  10. 1/4 cup gond/gaund
  11. 1/2 tsp nutmeg powder
  12. 1 tsp cardamom powder
  13. 1 cup ghee


  1. Dry roast uraddal dal and powder it. You can mill it too.
  2. Roast Khus Khus and keep it aside.
  3. Roast grated coconut and mix both and grind it to fine powder.
  4. Now take 1 tsp of ghee in frying pan roast gond until it become very light and fluffy. Let it cool and grind it to a fine powder .
  5. Take ghee in a big roasting pan/kadhai and add whole wheat flour in it.
  6. Roast it for 5-6 minutes then add uraddal dal flour and roast for 5 minutes until ghee starts coming out of it.
  7. Add dry fruits powder, Khus Khus coconut powder and gond powder in mix it nicely.
  8. Remove the mixture from heat and add the grated jaggery when it's hot. Mix it nicely.
  9. Now Grease your palms with a little ghee and make small round balls of the mixture.
  10. You can store these ladies for 10-15 days in airtight container.
