Naan

Ingredients to make Naan

  • maida 250gm
  • curd 100gm
  • Milk 100gm
  • butter 2tsp
  • salt 1tsp
  • sugar 1tsp
  • Baking powder 1tsp
  • ( For topping )
  • kalonji n Corinder

How to make Naan

  1. Sieve the flour and add salt and sugar .
  2. Mix baking powder n curd.
  3. Make a well in the center of the mixture and put the curds in it. Mix well.
  4. Make a soft dough with milk and use a little water if required.
  5. Knead well for 5 minutes.
  6. Add 1tsp of butter and knead well .
  7. Keep the dough covered for 5 minutes.
  8. Divide the dough into 5 to 6 balls and shape into naans with fingers and palms of the hands .
  9. Apply a little of the topping mixture on each naan , using wet hands.
  10. Stick the naans in a heated tava or cooker .

For more crispness add suji
