Having gur in winters is very good for everyone and combination of gur with wheat is always fantastic and I want to give the credit of this recipe to one of my rajasthani friend as this dish is basically a rajasthani dish.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 katori wheat Dalia
  2. 1 katori chopped gur
  3. 1 tbsp pure ghee
  4. 4 katori water
  5. 1/2 katori chopped nuts of your choice


  1. In a non stick pan heat ghee.
  2. Now add Dalia into it.
  3. Cook until it changes it's colour to golden brown.
  4. Side by side in a pan take water and gur and boil till gur melts in water.
  5. When dalia turns to golden brown add gur water into it.
  6. Cover the pan with the lid
  7. Cook on slow flame for around 10-15 mint.
  8. Add nuts to it.
  9. Cook untill Dalia absorbs all water.
  10. Your lapsi is ready
  11. Serve hot and garnish with nuts
