Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 200g spring onions
  2. 1 cup moong daal
  3. 1 tomato
  4. 1 tbsp red chilli pd
  5. 1 tbsp salt or according to taste
  6. 1 tbsp garam masala pd
  7. 2 red chili
  8. 2 tbsp mustard oil
  9. 1 tsp termuric pd
  10. 1 tsp cumin pd
  11. 1 tsp coriander pd
  12. 1 tbdp ginger-garlic paste

Instructions

  1. First wash and soak moong daal for 1 hour.
  2. Wash and chopp , spring onions separately white part and green part both.
  3. Now heat a kadai, add oil, red chili and cumin seeds,
  4. After splutter, add white part of onions and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Now add salt , termuric pd, cumin pd, coriander pd, garam masala pd, red chili powder and cook 5 minutes more on sim flame.
  6. Now add chopped tomatoes, and cook for 5 minutes more until it becomes soft.
  7. Now add soaked moong daal, and mix nicely.
  8. Now add green parts of onion, and mix well.
  9. Cover the lid and cook for 15-20 minutes. Until the moong daal will cook very well.
  10. Spring onions and moong daal sabzi is ready. Serve with roti, paratha or naan..
