Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Baby potatoes 500 grams.
  2. Chopped onion 2table spoon.
  3. Ginger_garlic padte 2table spoon.
  4. White sesame paste 1table spoon.
  5. Curd 2table spoon.
  6. Tomato puree 2table spoon.
  7. Garam masala powder 1tea spoon.
  8. Red chilly powder 2tea spoon.
  9. Amchur powder 1tea spoon.
  10. Chopped methi leaves 1/2cup.
  11. Cumin seeds 1tea spoon.
  12. Oil for frying 200 ml.
  13. Oil for cooking 4table spoon.
  14. Salt to taste.

Instructions

  1. Par boil potatoes,peel and deep fry till light golden.Keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan,add cumin seeds, heat till crackle.
  3. Add onion and fry till golden brown,further add ginger _garlic paste and cook on medium flame for 2minutes.
  4. Add 1/2cup water and cook on low flame till raw smell of spices vanishes.
  5. Now add tomato puree ,red chilly powder,coriander powder and chopped methi leaves to the gravy.Add 1cup water and cook on medium flame for 5_6 minutes.
  6. When oil separates from the gravy,add salt.stir to combine.
  7. Add curd and mix well.
  8. Add potatoes and cook on low flame for 1_2minutes.
  9. Add 2cups water,and let potatoes boil.
  10. Add salt,simmer the flame ,cover the lid and cook on low flame to 20minutes.
  11. After 20 minutes,when potatoes are tender add garam masala.Mix well and cook on low flame for 1minute.
  12. Serve hot with puris/parathe.
