Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Cauliflower 1 kg
  2. Potatoes 3 medium
  3. Onions medium-sized chopped 2
  4. Tomatoes chopped 2
  5. Ginger garlic chopped 3 tbsp
  6. Mustard oil 3 tbsp
  7. Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  8. Klaungi/nigella seeds 1/2 tsp
  9. Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  10. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  11. Turmeric powder 1 1/2 tsp
  12. Dried methi 1 tbsp
  13. Green chilli chopped 3-4
  14. coriander powder 1 tsp
  15. Coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp
  16. Garam masala 1 tsp
  17. Salte to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash and cut cauliflower and potatoes.
  2. Heat oil in pan add mustard seeds, klaunji, cumin seeds.
  3. Then add ginger, garlic, red chilli, turmeric, green chilli and onions, saute till golden brown then add tomatoes.
  4. When oil separates add cauliflower, potatoes, salt, methi, coriander powder and mix them.
  5. Cover with lid and let cook on low heat stirring occasionally until done.
  6. Add garam masala and coriander leaves.
  7. Serve hot with chapatis.
