This is a quick recipe. Usually we make carrot halwa with grated carrot but today I make it with a very quick way. I served it with Sesame Rabdi. In winters we use Sesame seeds to make our body warm.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Half kg carrot
  2. Milk 1 cup
  3. 2 tbsp clarified butter
  4. Mawa half cup
  5. Sugar half cup or according to taste
  6. Elaichi Powder 1 spoon
  7. 2 tbsp dry fruits chopped which you like
  8. For Rabdi-
  9. 1 cup milk
  10. 2 tbsp milkmaid
  11. 2 tablespoon roasted sesame seeds powder
  12. 2 tablespoon sugar
  13. One spoon elaichi powder
  14. 1 tablespoon dry fruits chopped which you like
  15. Some Silver vark for Garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil the cut carrots in a cooker with 1/4 cup water.
  2. After boiling mash carrots.
  3. In a vessel boil milk.
  4. Add boil mash carrots.
  5. When it dried up add sugar and mawa.
  6. Mix clarified butter.
  7. When mixture leave the sides of vessel add Elaichi powder and dry fruits.
  8. Halwa is ready.
  9. Now make rabdi.
  10. Boil the milk.
  11. Add sesame powder and milk maid.
  12. Now add sugar and elaichi powder.
  13. Mix dry fruits and off the flame.
  14. In a plate put some halwa in square shape.
  15. Garnish with dry fruits and silver vark.
  16. Pour sesame rabdi around the halwa.
