Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For missi cups
  2. 1 cup gram flour
  3. 1/2 spoon salt
  4. 1/8 spoon carom seeds
  5. 1/4 spoon red chilli powder
  6. 2 spoon oil
  7. 1/2 cup boiled spinach
  8. 4-5 spoon water
  9. For gatte
  10. 3/4 cup gram flour
  11. 1 pinch baking soda
  12. Salt as per taste
  13. 1 pinch carom seeds
  14. 4 spoon oil
  15. 1 pinch cumin seeds
  16. 2 cardamom
  17. 2 cloves
  18. 1"cinnamon stick
  19. 2 cup spinach puree
  20. 1 spoon ginger garlic paste
  21. 1 cup onion paste
  22. 1 cup tomato puree
  23. 1/2 spoon green chilli paste
  24. 1 cup cream
  25. 1/4 spoon turmeric powder
  26. 1/4 spoon red chilli powder
  27. 1/2 spoon coriander powder
  28. 1/2 spoon garam masala
  29. 1 spoon butter
  30. Water as per requirement
  31. 1/4 spoon dry mango powder
  32. 2 cubes cheese
  33. 2 spoon red chilli flakes

Instructions

  1. For missi cups mix all ingredients in a bowl and knead a tight dough
  2. Devide into 8 portions and roll into a thick circle
  3. Grease 8 small steel bowls with oil and arrange missi roti inside it like cups
  4. Bake for 20 minutes on 180°
  5. For gatte mix gram flour,baking soda,salt,carom seeds,2 spoon oil and little water
  6. Knead a tight dough and devide into small pieces
  7. Roll each piece in cylindrical shape
  8. Boil water in a wok and put gatte in it
  9. Cover and Boil for 5 minutes
  10. Takeout from water and cut into 2" size
  11. Heat remaining oil in a wok and add cumin seeds,cardamom,cloves and cinnamon stick
  12. Add onion paste,ginger garlic paste and chilli paste
  13. Saute until it turn golden brown
  14. Add tomato puree and cook for 3-4 minutes
  15. Add salt and other spices and stir for 2 minutes
  16. Add cream and cook until it leaves oil
  17. Add spinach puree and cook until the gravy thickens
  18. Mix gatte and buttter
  19. Mix well and switch off the flame
  20. Let it cool
  21. Takeout missi cups from the steel bowls and put 2 spoon spinach gatte in each cups
  22. Grate cheese over it and sprinkle chilli flakes
  23. Bake for 5 minutes on 180°
  24. Serve hot.
