ABOUT Cheesy bread RECIPE

Easy to make wholewheat flour bread stuffed with pizza sauce, orange and cheese. But we have so many options to change the taste and flavour. We can use fried onion, garlic, capsicum, mushroom or any vegetables of our choice for stuffing.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Wholewheat flour/atta 2 cup
  2. All purpose flour/maida 1 cup
  3. Yeast 1 & 1/2 teaspoon
  4. Salt 1 teaspoon
  5. Sugar 1 tablespoon
  6. Oil 2 tablespoon
  7. Vinegar 1 & 1/2 tablespoon
  8. Milk 1/4 cup
  9. Water 1 cup
  10. Little milk for brushing
  11. Pizza sauce as require
  12. Oregano to sprinkle
  13. Cheese as much as you like

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar and yeast in 1/4 cup warm milk. Milk should be warm not hot. Stir well cover and keep aside for 15 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl take flours, oil, salt and vinegar. Mix well. Add yeast mixture and water.
  3. Make a smooth dough. Knead the dough for 8-10 minutes.
  4. Smear with oil and cover with a kitchen napkin. Keep the bowl in a warm place.
  5. After 2 hours punch down the dough. Knead again.
  6. Take a oil greased loaf pan. Make a layer with half the dough.
  7. Spread pizza sauce over it. Sprinkle grated mozzarella cheese and oregano.
  8. Now cover it with remaining dough. You can use any stuffing of your choice.
  9. Cover the pan with a kitchen napkin and leave for one more hour for final proofing.
  10. Preheat the oven at 200° for 20 minutes. Brush the bread with milk.
  11. Bake for 30 minutes or until the colour becomes golden brown.
  12. Let it cool down. Slice and serve with butter.
