This is a very healthy and tasty dish for winter . Because this is a zero oil food.

Ingredients to make Kamola sundori pitha

  • Boiled and mashed carrot 1 cup
  • maida 2 & 1/2 cup
  • salt to taste
  • cardamom powder 1/2 tspn
  • Liquid milk 2 & 1/2 cup
  • sugar 1 cup
  • Custurd powder 4 tblspn

How to make Kamola sundori pitha

  1. At first we have to take all ingredients together
  2. Now add a pinch of salt, carrot paste and cardamom powder to maida and knead a smooth dough. Now brush oil on it and covered with a lid.
  3. Now take 1/2 cup milk and add 4 tblspn custurd powder to it and mix it well. keep it aside.
  4. Now take 2 cups milk in a pan and keep it for boil. When it comes to boil add sugar and a pinch of salt in it. When sugar desolves add custurd mixture and keep stiring. When it becomes thick take it off from gas.
  5. Now take a small part from the dough and roll a small puri . Now put one tblspn of custurd mix on the puri .
  6. Now fold the puri from all sides
  7. Make all the pithas in same way.
  8. Now take a big pan and pour 2 cups of water and let it boil.
  9. Now take a plate with holes and brush oil on it and put all the pithas on it. When water comes to boil put the plate on it and cover it well. Keep it on medium flame for 5 mnts.
  10. After 5 mnts take the pithas and serve it hot.

My Tip:

You can stuff the pitha with coconut and jaggery also
