Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 30 Storebought wonton wrappers
  2. 1/4 cup Bamboo shoots (canned & chopped)
  3. 1/4cup Mushrooms (chopped)
  4. 1 Carrot( grated)
  5. 2 Green onions (chopped thin)
  6. 3 Garlic cloves (chopped)
  7. 1/2cup Chinese cabbage (shredded)
  8. 1tbsp Soya sauce
  9. 1tsp Sesame oil
  10. 1tsp Rice vinegar
  11. Red Oil Sauce:
  12. 3tbsp Store bought red chilli oil
  13. 1tbsp Sesame oil
  14. 1/2tsp Packed brown sugar
  15. 2tbsp Light Soya sauce
  16. 2 Garlic cloves (chopped finely)
  17. 1cup Mixed Vegetables
  18. 2tbsp Black vinegar
  19. Water
  20. Coriander leaves for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add in the chopped garlic, thinly sliced green onions and saute for a while.
  2. Add in the carrot, mushrooms, cook for a while, finally add the shredded chinese cabbage until they shrinks a bit, put off the stove.
  3. Now finally add the bamboo shoots, add in the soya sauce, mix well, keep aside.
  4. Take a wrapper, spoon enough vegetable mixture and fold it to make a rectangle.
  5. Dab water on the left corner,push the middle inside and bring the right corner to the left corner,seal it tightly.
  6. Cook the prepared wontons, mixed vegetables in a boiling water, meanwhile mix all the ingredients given under the red oil sauce except water in a bowl.
  7. Bring boil enough water and drop the wontons.
  8. Once the wontons starts floating remove them and transfer it to a bowl. Let the vegetables gets cooks.
  9. Now pour wonton cooked water to the bowl, add in the already prepared red oil sauce to the bowl, add in the wontons.
  10. Garnish the wontons with minced coriander leaves. Serve warm.
