Stuffed Bread Disc

Ingredients to make Stuffed Bread Disc

  • White bread slices - 20 pieces
  • Finely chopped green bell pepper - 1 small
  • Finely chopped deseeded tomatoes - 1 small
  • Boiled or cooked Keema - 1/2 cup
  • Finely chopped onion - 1 large
  • Oregano (crushed into the palms) - 1 teaspoon
  • Grated cheese - 1/2 cup
  • salt - To taste
  • pepper powder - To taste
  • butter - 100 gms
  • tomato sauce - As needed
  • Mayonnaise - 4 tablespoon

How to make Stuffed Bread Disc

  1. In a bowl mix softened butter, tomato sauce and some pepper powder with a spoon. Keep aside.
  2. Mix the bell pepper, tomatoes, onion, keema , salt, pepper, mayonnaise, oregano, grated cheese in another bowl.
  3. Pre heat the oven at 180 degree centigrade.
  4. Cut the bread slices in roundels with any round cutter. Keep aside half of the roundels.
  5. From the remaining roundels cut smaller rings. So that each round bread slice can be used as a base and the ring on the top of the base.
  6. Spread butter mix on one bread base. Stick a ring on top of the base.
  7. In the center of the ring, add half a teaspoon of the filling.
  8. Place the disc on a baking tray. Prepare all the discs in the same way.
  9. Give a butter wash on top of the discs. Bake it for 7-10 minutes or until it turns golden brown.
  10. Enjoy with your favourite dip or as it is.

My Tip:

1. Pizza Sauce gives the discs a different taste; if used instead of tomato sauce. 2. For veg version crumbled cottage cheese can be used.
