About Potato Poha Recipe

It is less time consuming and require less efforts for preparation or making.

Potato Poha

Ingredients to make Potato Poha

  • 200 gm Thick poha
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 green chilly chopped
  • 1 potato chopped into small pieces
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 Tbsp peanuts
  • 1 tsp red chilly powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • coriander leaves to garnish
  • 2 tbsp oil

How to make Potato Poha

  1. Soak and rinse well poha. 
  2. Heat oil in a pan and fry the peanuts for 1 minute.
  3. Add chopped onions and fry till golden brown.
  4. Now add potato pieces and green chilly and fry for 2 minutes
  5. When it fries well add tomato and leave it for 1 minute to fry.
  6. Now add turmeric powder, red chilly powder, and salt. 
  7. Now add poha and mix the ingredients well.
  8. After mixing, add sugar and lemon juice.
  9. Cook it for 5 minutes. Your Poha is ready. Garnish the poha with finely chopped coriander leaves. Sev, onions, and peanuts. Serve it hot.
