About Aloo Paneer Kebab/Potato Paneer Kebab Recipe

Very easy to dish out, this kebabs makes an excellent starter or snacks when served along with some spicy chutney or sauces. A excellent comfort food to enjoy with a cup of tea.

Aloo Paneer Kebab/Potato Paneer Kebab

Ingredients to make Aloo Paneer Kebab/Potato Paneer Kebab

  • 4nos potatoes (pressure cooked)
  • 1/2cup paneer (crumbled)
  • 1 onion (big & chopped)
  • 1tsp Garam masala powder
  • 1/2tsp cumin seed powder
  • 2nos green chillies (chopped)
  • salt
  • 2tbsp Corn flour
  • oil for shallow frying
  • 1/2cup Breadcrumbs

How to make Aloo Paneer Kebab/Potato Paneer Kebab

  1. Mash the cooked potatoes.
  2. Heat few drops of oil, sauté the chopped onions until they turns transculent, cook for few minutes.
  3. Add in this sauteed onions,crumbled paneer to the mashed potatoes.
  4. Now add the garam masala powder, chopped green chillies, cumin powder, salt and mix well.
  5. Make small sized patties from the mixture.
  6. Prepare a slightly thick batter with corn flour with enough water, drop the prepared patties one by one to the prepared batter and roll them evenly over the breadcrumbs.
  7. Keep aside and finish with the remaining patties.
  8. Arrange the patties for an hour in fridge.
  9. Heat enough oil in a pan, fry the prepared patties in small batches until the crust turns golden brown, drain the excess of oil with a paper towel.
  10. Serve warm with ketchup.
