Stuffed capsicum

Ingredients to make Stuffed capsicum

  • 2 big size capsicum
  • Mashed potatoes 2
  • Mashed paneer 1/2 cup
  • Chopped onion 1
  • Chopped chillies as per taste
  • Chopped mix vegetables 1/2 cup (What is available)
  • Dry masala as per choice
  • Chopped ginger 1/2 inch
  • cornflour 2 tsp

How to make Stuffed capsicum

  1. Slice capsicum into rings and keep aside.
  2. Fry the onions in one teaspoon of oil. Add in the ginger and chillies and fry them too.
  3. Add in the mashed potatoes, mashed paneer and mix vegetables if using any.
  4. Sprinkle all the dry masala like salt, red chilli powder, dhania powder and garam masala. Roast for a few minutes.
  5. Fill this masala in capsicum rings and sprinkle some cornflour on it and refrigerate.
  6. Shallow fry them and just before serving sprinkle some chaat masala on it.

how can we fill the stuffing in capsicum rings..it is to be stuffed in the whole capsicum??

I did try this, but shallow frying it made the capsicum taste raw...don't know what went wrong? Also, are the rings thin or thick ones?

Pieces are thick... when you fry them cover them with a lid for a minute or two that's it
