Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Chicken 600 gm.
  2. 1 big sized potato.
  3. 2 medium sized chopped onions.
  4. Curd 100 gm.
  5. 1 tbsp green chilli paste.
  6. Ginger paste 2 tbsp.
  7. Garlic paste 2 tbsp.
  8. 3 tbsp finely chopped coriander.
  9. 1tbsp roasted cumin powder.
  10. 1tsp turmeric powder.
  11. 1 tsp red chilli powder.
  12. 1 tbsp sahi garam masala powder.1
  13. 1tsp chicken curry powder.
  14. Salt to taste.
  15. Sugar to taste.
  16. Mustrurd oil 3-4 tbsp.
  17. 1 cup hot water.

Instructions

  1. Wash the chicken pieces properly and drain the water.
  2. In a big bowl add chicken,curd,ginger garlic paste,green chilli paste,turmeric powder, redchilli powder,roasted cumin powder,chicken curry powder,salt to teast and also add 1 tsp mustrurd oil,mix nicely let it marinate for at least 1-2 hour.
  3. Take a nonstick kadai put mustrurd oil and heat oil in kadai and then add the potato pieces with pinch of salt ,onec they are golden yellow,remove from the kadai and keep aside.
  4. Then add chopped onions and fry till they turn golden colour.Then add marinated chicken and cook for 6-7 minutes,now add the fried potato and mix well.
  5. Finally add 2 cup of hot water as per your gravy requirement.cover and cook for 12-15 minutes till the chicken gets completely cooked.
  6. Sprinkle sahi garam masala powder and garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
  7. The chicken curry is ready to be served with rice,roti,polao, fried rice.
