Chocolate Vanilla Pannacotta

Ingredients to make Chocolate Vanilla Pannacotta

  • For the chocolate layer:
  • Any Ready made Chocolate milk 60ml
  • sugar 1 tsp
  • water 100 ml
  • Agar agar powder 4 gms
  • For the vanilla layer:
  • Plain milk 30 ml
  • sugar 1/2 tsp
  • water 50 ml
  • Vannila Essence 2-3 drops
  • Agar agar 2 gms

How to make Chocolate Vanilla Pannacotta

  1. Let's start with the chocolate layer. Take a pan, add water and bring it to boil.
  2. When the bubbles start to form in the water (boiling high) add the agar agar powder.
  3. Let it completely dissolve. Turn off the gas. Immediately add the sugar and chocolate milk.
  4. Let it rest in the pan for 2 mins.
  5. Take cups of your choice and pour them.
  6. You may leave it outside for 30 mins or keep them in refrigerator. (Timings varies based on the amount and thickness of the content.)
  7. Make sure any bubbles found in the mix are removed before cooling down.
  8. For the vanilla layer: (start this only after the chocolate layer is set completely.)
  9. Take a pan, add water and let it boil. When the bubbles start to form in the water (boiling high) and add the agar agar powder.
  10. Immediately add the sugar, milk and vanilla essence. Pour it on top of the chocolate milk. Let it set completely.
  11. Chocolate Vannila Agar Agar is ready to be served chilled.

My Tip:

Do not omit the sugar as we are mixing the milk with water and sugar should be balanced correctly. You can completely set this in room temperature but the timings would vary. When you are pouring the vanilla layer make sure the chocolate layer is set. You may check this by shaking the cup. Sugar can be replaced with palm sugar or honey
