Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Mutton trotters(Paaya)6
  2. FPR BOILING:
  3. 2 big onions chopped
  4. Gg paste 2 tbsp
  5. Dhania pwdr 2 tbsp
  6. Salt taste
  7. Pepper to taste
  8. Barley 1/2 cup soaked in water
  9. For Tempering:
  10. Whole garam masala 1 pc each
  11. Cinnamon, cloves,
  12. Whole cumin 1 tsp
  13. Onion 1 sliced
  14. Whole wheat flour 4 tbsp
  15. Red chillies pwdr 1 tbsp
  16. Curd 2 tbsp
  17. oil

Instructions

  1. Wash and clean the trotters.Put them in the pressure cooker along with gg paste and the barley
  2. Add the dhania pwdr,chopped onions,salt and pepper
  3. Pressure cook till 6 to 8 whistles,when you open the cooler the barley should be cooked and the trotters should be all done.some of the marrow may be out...dnt worry
  4. FOR TEMPERING:
  5. Heat oil and add the cumin alone with the whole garam masala
  6. Add the sliced onions and fry
  7. Once the onions turn golden, add the red chillies pwdr
  8. Add the whoke wheat flour
  9. Saute till nice aroma appears
  10. Add the curd
  11. Saute/bhunofy the masala nicely
  12. Add the boiled trotter soup
  13. Mix well and let it cook for 30 mins on slow flame
  14. Cook till the oil separates
  15. Top with handful of chopped dhania
  16. Serve hot with some khicdi and lots of lemon juice
