This recipe is very popular recipe in west Bengal,serve to steamed prwan with hot rice.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 250 gm medium sized prawn.
  2. Coconut paste 1 cup.
  3. Coconut milk 1/2 cup.
  4. 1/2 mustard seeds paste.
  5. Tumeric powder 1/2 tsp.
  6. Salt to taste.
  7. Green chilli 4-5.
  8. Mustard oil 2 tbsp.

Instructions

  1. Clean the prawns and keep it in the side.
  2. Make a smooth paste with mustard seeds, green chilli and 1/2 cup water.
  3. Take a bowl then add coconut milk,1cup water, coconut paste, turmeric powder,salt to taste and green chilli murstard Seeds paste mix it well,now add prawn.
  4. In a steel tiffin box place the paste and prawn.spread the paste equally on fish.pour 2 tbsp murstard oil on top.cover the tiffin box with lid.
  5. In a deep bottom pan boli water,water should not go above the lid.now keep the tiffin box in boiling water.cook for 20-25 minutes on low flame.
  6. It's ready to serve.
