ABOUT Healthy beetroot hummus RECIPE

Its a levantine dip.i prepared it with beetroot to make it healthy as well as beautiful.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 cup boiled chickpeas
  2. 1 cup boiled beetroot
  3. 2 garlic cloves
  4. 1/2 tbsp lemon zest
  5. 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
  6. 1/2 tsp salt
  7. 1/2 tsp blackpepper
  8. 1/2 tsp roasted cumin poder
  9. 2 tbsp tahini
  10. 2-3 tbsb olive oil
  11. 2 tsp lemon juice
  12. 2 tsp chopped parsely or coriander
  13. For tahini
  14. 2 tsp sesame
  15. 1 garlic clove
  16. 1.5 tbsp lemon juice
  17. 2 tsp olive oil
  18. Salt as per taste

Instructions

  1. Place chikpeas and beetroot in blender or mixer
  2. Add all igredients-tahini,cloves,salt,chilli flakes,black pepper,lemon zest ,lemon juice,cumin powder
  3. Prepare a smooth paste
  4. Transfer in a bowl.pour olive oil and sprinkle sesame and garnish with parsely ..serve with pita bread..enjoy
  5. For tahini blend all ingredients in a mixer and make a paste
