A healthy delicious breakfast dish. Can be taken with coconut chutney .

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Sweet potato , peeled & cut into small pieces 2 cups.
  2. Salt
  3. Turmeric powder 2 pinch.
  4. To crush
  5. Small onion 8 to 10
  6. Red chillies 4 or 5 according to taste.
  7. Salt
  8. To season
  9. Mustard seeds 1/4 tsp.
  10. Red chillies 2
  11. Curry leaves
  12. Oil 2 tbsp.

Instructions

  1. Cook sweet potato pieces with salt & turmeric powder with some water. Some cook easily. So take care not to get it mashed too much.
  2. Drain the water.
  3. Crush the given ingredients in a mixi.
  4. Heat a kadai with oil. Add mustard seeds , red chillies & curry leaves.
  5. When it splutter, add crushed ingredients. Stir well.
  6. Then add boiled sweet potatoes. Mix well. Adjust salt.
  7. It can be taken alone or with chutney.
  8. Serve hot.
