Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. cottagecheese/paneer-150gms
  2. onion-2
  3. tomatoes-3big
  4. ginger-1 inch
  5. garlic-5clovez
  6. cashews/kaju-20
  7. butter-50gms
  8. whole garam masala(cardamom-2,cloves-2,cinnamon-1inch,bayleaf-1)
  9. cumin seeds-1tsp
  10. kashmiri redchilli powder-1.5tbsp
  11. cuminpowder-1tsp
  12. coriander powder-1tsp
  13. garam masala-1tsp
  14. freshcream-2tbsp
  15. kasuri methi
  16. oil for frying
  17. water

Instructions

  1. cut the cottage cheese in cubes and shallow fry till golden brown
  2. then fry around 10cashews in same pan and keep aside
  3. in a kadai add the shallow fried oil add diced onion, tomatoes and ginger garlic
  4. saute well by adding little water and salt
  5. then add redchilli powder and remaining cashews
  6. simmer for 5mins
  7. once it is cooled grind it to smooth paste by adding little water and keepaside
  8. in a deepbottom pan add butter, whole garam masalas,cumin seeds and redchilli powder
  9. add the grinded smooth paste mix well
  10. then goes the garam masala, coriander and cuminpowder cook until raw smell of masalas gone
  11. add fresh cream and fried cashews and paneer
  12. cover and cook for about -5 to 10mins
  13. finally add the crushed kasuri methi and garnish with a tsp of fresh cream and top it with butter
  14. served with rotis ghee rice and naans
