Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 green chillies
  2. 1/2 inch ginger
  3. 1/2 cup coriander leaves
  4. 3 Cup Mint Leaves
  5. 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  6. 1 tsp black salt
  7. 1/2 tsp. Pepper Powder
  8. 1 tsp. Pani Puri Masala
  9. Salt to taste
  10. 2-3 Lemon Juice
  11. 3 Cups Ice-Cold Water
  12. 2 Chopped Boiled Potatoes
  13. 1/2 Cup Soaked Moong
  14. 1/2 cup soaked boondi
  15. Black salt
  16. Puffed Puris (1 Packet)
  17. 1/2 cup sev

Instructions

  1. To make the tangy flavored water, chop green chillies, ginger roughly and add coriander leaves, mint leaves, cumin powder, black salt, pepper powder, pani puri masala, salt, lemon juice and grind it all into a smooth paste.
  2. Remove the paste into a bowl and add ice-cold water to it. Strain the water and keep it in the refrigerator to chill for at least 2-3 hours.
  3. Adjust the seasonings if needed.
  4. Add 4-5 ice cubes to the tangy flavored water before serving.
  5. To make the filling, boiled potatoes and add soaked moong or boil the moong for 5-6 minutes, soaked boondi and season it it black salt and cumin powder and mix them well.
  6. Take the puffed puri and make a hole in it in order to spoon the filling into it.
  7. As per your liking add little date & tamarind chutney and the tangy water that we made into the puffed filled puri.
  8. Pani Puri is ready to eat.
