What is almond flour ???
Such beautiful macarons, I love it!
Grind almonds and icing sugar and then sieve them to make the almond meal
Beat egg whites , cream of tarter and salt till frothy
Then gradually add the castor sugar in the egg white mixture and beat on high speed till the mixture is stiff n shiny
Then mix in the red food color
Slowly add the almond meal to this mixture n mix it till it has flat ribbon falling consistency
Fill this mixture in a piping bag and pipe it on the silicon macaroon sheet
Let it dry for about half and hour or till they are non sticky
Bake them in a pre heated oven at 120 degrees for 22 to 25 mins
In another bowl beat icing sugar and unsalted butter till soft and fluffy
Then add the cream cheese and mix well
Once the macaroon shells are at room temperature pipe the center with the cream cheese butter cream
SERVING: 10
