Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. mutton/ghosr-1/2kg
  2. Aloo/potato-2
  3. curd-1/2cup
  4. ginger garlic paste-2tsp
  5. onion-3 medium sized
  6. tomato-2 medium
  7. green chilli-2
  8. kashmiri red chilli powder-1tsp
  9. curry masala powder-3tbsp
  10. water-1.5 cups
  11. coconut milk-1/2 cup
  12. garam masla powder-1 tsp
  13. crushed ginger garlic-1tbsp
  14. salt and coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. wash the mutton and marinate with ginger garlic paste, curd and salt
  2. in a pressure cooker pour oil, garam masala and sliced onion
  3. once the onion gets transclucent add in crushed ginger garlic
  4. Then goes tomatoes and red chilli powder
  5. saute well until tomatoes becomes mushy and releases oil
  6. add the curry masala powder and marinated mutton pieces
  7. cook and let the mutton releases the water
  8. add salt enough water and pressure cook for 5 whistles
  9. finally add thick coconut milk and aloo
  10. pressure cook for about 1 whistle so that aloo cooks soft
  11. garnish with chopped coriander
