ABOUT Tricolour Pulav (Rice) RECIPE

This rice is healthy and rich taste of rice.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. For Carrot rice
  2. 1 cup cooked Basamati rice
  3. 1/2 cup grated carrot
  4. salt to taste
  5. 1 tbsp butter/oil
  6. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  7. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  8. 1 tbsp chopped cashew nuts
  9. 5-6 Curry Leaves
  10. Pinch of turmeric powder
  11. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  12. FOR GHEE rice
  13. 1 cup cooked rice
  14. 1 thinly sliced onion
  15. 1 tsp shahi jeera
  16. 1 Star anise,, 1 inch cinnamon stick, 4 black pepper, 4 cloves, Curry leaves, 2 cardamom
  17. 1 bayleaf,, 1 green chilli slit lengthwise.
  18. salt to taste, 2 tbsp Ghee
  19. 1 tbsp finely chopped ginger garlic
  20. FOR spinach RICE
  21. 1 cup cooked Basamati rice
  22. 1/2 cup chopped spinach leaves
  23. 1/4 cup fresh peas
  24. 1 tsp finely chopped ginger garlic
  25. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  26. 2 green chilli slit lengthwise
  27. 1/2 onion thinly sliced
  28. 1 tbsp butter
  29. salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Firstly take the pan heat the butter add cumin and mustard seeds allow to splutter them. then add Curry leaves next add carrot and turmeric saute well. While carrot cooked then add salt and cooked rice gently mix well, do not break the rice grains, add some fried cashew nuts. now carrot rice is ready.
  2. In pan heat butter and add all masala ingredients mentioned above in ghee rice INGREDIENTS, next saute well till they comes to aromatic smell, next add thinly sliced onion and Ginger garlic saute well.after add cooked rice and salt and Add some roasted cashew nuts mix well without breaking rice grains. Finally hot ghee rice is ready.
  3. Heat the butter add cumin seeds, allow it to splutter then add green chilli, chopped onion, stir well onion until translucent. after Add peas, chopped spinach leaves saute for a few minutes. Further add salt and cooked rice gently mix well. Finally spinach rice is ready.
  4. Lastly put the rice to tray one by one. Adjust the Flag colour serial. Put star anise in center on white ghee rice. Now Tricolour pulav is ready...
