ABOUT Mango Panna cotta RECIPE

Pannacotta, an Italian favourite, married to our very own mango. What an amazing combination!

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 2 cups of mango pulp
  2. 2 cups of milk
  3. 20 gms gelatine
  4. 1/2 cup warm water
  5. 200 ml cream
  6. 1 tsp cardamom powder
  7. 1/2 cup sugar
  8. Chopped mangoes and mint leaves to garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, add gelatine in warm water and keep it aside for 10 minutes. Then mix well.
  2. In the mean time, heat the cream and sugar, keep stirring till the sugar melts.
  3. Remove from the fire, add the cardamom powder and mix well.
  4. Now, to the pulp, add half the cream and half the gelatine mixture.
  5. Pour into small glasses or a large serving bowl.
  6. Keep in the fridge to set, this will take about 1/2 an hour or so.
  7. Add the remaining cream and gelatine to the milk.
  8. Once the mango pulp sets, gently pour over the milk mixture. Let it set for an hour, or till done.
  9. Before serving, garnish with chopped mangoes and mint leaves.
