Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. chicken 700 gm.
  2. 2 big size chopped onion.
  3. ginger garlic paste 3 tbsp.
  4. cumin seeds 1 tbsp.
  5. turmeric powder 1 tsp.
  6. lemon juice 3 tbsp.
  7. curd 100 gm.
  8. roasted cumin powder 2 tbsp.
  9. 2 dry red chilli.
  10. whole black paper 1 tbsp.
  11. 4 green cardamom .
  12. 4 cloves.
  13. 1 medium size cinnamon.
  14. salt to taste.
  15. sugar 1 tsp.
  16. Kashmiri chilli powder 2 tbsp.
  17. crushed kasuri methi 1 tbsp.
  18. Garam masala 1 tbsp.
  19. Chopped coriander leaves 2 tbsp.
  20. roasted gram flour 2 tbsp.
  21. mustard oil 4-5 tbsp.

Instructions

  1. wash the chicken pieces properly and drain the water
  2. take a Big Bowl, marinated the chicken pieces with curd,ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, turmeric powder, kashmiri red chilli ,rosted cumin powder and salt to taste and 2 tbsp musturd oil and nicely coated all pieces and rest it about for 1hr,keep it aside.
  3. Heat the frying pan put musturd oil add cumin seeds,dry red chilli,black paper curdamom,cinaamon,cloves and after 2 minutes add finely chopped onions and fry till they turn golden colour.
  4. Then add marinated chicken and cook for 6-7 minutes.now add 2 tbsp rosted gram flour,1tsp suger and mix it well.
  5. Finally add 1 cup water as per your gravy requirement.cover and cook for 10-15 minutes till the chicken completely cooked.
  6. Sprinkle crushed kasuri methi,garam masala mix it well. Turn off the flame. .
  7. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
  8. Dhaba style chicken curry ready to be served with roti,rumali roti.
