Moong soaked , ground , sauted and stuffed with Carrot to give a un8que combination

Moong and Carrot Stuffed parotha.

Ingredients to make Moong and Carrot Stuffed parotha.

  • Moong soaked 3/4 cup
  • carrot grated 1/2 cup
  • Fresh green garlic minced 2 tbsp
  • chilli powder 3/4 tsp
  • curd 1 tbsp
  • turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • sesame seeds roasted 1 tbsp
  • Ajwain 1{2 tsp
  • oil 1 tbsp
  • oil for shallow frying
  • wheat flour,
  • salt to taste.
  • oil 1 tbsp.

How to make Moong and Carrot Stuffed parotha.

  1. Blend moong with tbsp water.
  2. Heat a pan. Add 2 tsp oil
  3. Add moong, fry on medium heat.
  4. Add salt, garlic, turmeric and chilli powder.
  5. Add Ajwain,
  6. Add carrot . Mix well.
  7. Add sesame seeds. Turn off heat.
  8. Cool the mixture.
  9. Make a dough of wheat flour by adding salt and oil with water.
  10. Take a ball from wheat flour.
  11. Roll and stuff. Seal and roll again.
  12. Roast parotha applying oil on both the side.
  13. Serve with pickle/ curd / ketchup.
