Ingredients to make Besan ke Ladoo

  • 1 1/2 cup besan
  • 1/2 cup ghee
  • 1/2 cup bura chini / powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (almonds, cashews, pistachios)
  • 1 tsp green cardamom powder

How to make Besan ke Ladoo

  1. In a heavy bottom pan, roast the besan in ghee.
  2. Keep stirring and roast till you get a good aroma and colour of the besan turns brown. Let it cool.
  3. Add bura chini, cardamom powder and chopped nuts and mix well.
  4. Shape into round balls and serve.

My Tip:

Take care while roasting the besan to prevent it from burning. Turn to a low flame after sometime and keep stirring.
