These fingers are beautifully crisp outside and crunchy inside. They are healthier than potato and makes a perfect munching snack.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 8-10 sweet tender babycorns
  2. 1/2 cup of cornflour
  3. 1/4 cup of all purpose flour
  4. salt
  5. water
  6. 2tsp dried oregano
  7. 1tsp paprika powder
  8. 1tsp garlic powder
  9. Pinch of turmeric powder(optional)
  10. oil for deep frying


  1. Par-boil the babycorns and strain them
  2. Once cool , slit them into thin long pieces
  3. Keep oil for deep frying
  4. In a mixing bowl add all the dry ingredients and mix well
  5. Now add water 1 tbsp at a time and make the batter with pouring consistency
  6. Once the batter is ready give it a good stir and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  7. Now gently dip in the babycorn fingers and make sure each one of them is fully covered with the batter
  8. Put them in the oil and fry on medium flame until golden and crisp.
  9. Strain the fingers on a kitchen towel.
  10. Serve hot with tomato ketchup
