Restaurant style Pizza topped with lots of cheese, vegetables Italian seasoning and fresh basil with home made pizza sauce. This home made pizza is so tasty and the crust is really nice, better than restaurant pizza crusts.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. For the dough: all purpose flour 1 cup and extra for dusting
  2. Dry yeast 1 teaspoon
  3. Warm water 3/4 cup
  4. sugar 1 and 1/2 teaspoon
  5. salt 1/2 teaspoon
  6. olive oil 3 tablespoon
  7. Pizza sauce : big size fresh tomatoes 3
  8. Finely chopped garlic 2 teaspoon
  9. Dried basil 1 teaspoon
  10. Dry oregano 1 teaspoon
  11. salt as required ( 1/2 teaspoon)
  12. Black pepper powder 1-2 teaspoon
  13. olive oil 2 tablespoon
  14. Toppings: button mashroom 2 sliced
  15. Baby corn 2 sliced
  16. Sliced red and yellow bell pepers
  17. Cherry tomatoes halves 4-5
  18. Fresh basil leaves 4-5
  19. Shredded mozzarella cheese 1 cup
  20. Shredded cheddar cheese 3/4 cup
  21. Processed cheese slices 2 roughly cut ( optional)
  22. salt
  23. Mixed herbs 1 teaspoon
  24. Red chilli flakes
  25. Italian seasoning 1 teaspoon
  26. olive oil for greasing


  1. Dough : To make the dough, dissolve the yeast and sugar in warm water and allow to rest for 5-10 minutes. The yeast should make the water froth and bubble, but don’t worry if it doesn’t happen.
  2. Mix the flour and salt together in a bowl. Add the yeast dissolved water to it, mix Using a fork until it starts to form a dough. Add the oil and bring together into a smooth dough.
  3. Take the dough onto a floured surface and knead until it has an elastic, smooth texture, add a little extra flour if needed. Place the dough back in the bowl coat it with olive oil and cover with a clean damp cloth. Leave for 40 minutes or 1 hour .until it has doubled in size.
  4. After 40 minutes add 2 tablespoon olive oil and knead again for about 5 minutes. And shift it again to the bowl, cover again and keep aside for another 40 minutes.
  5. Pizza sauce: chop tomatoes. Add 1 tablespoon olive oil to it and blend, make tomato puree
  6. Heat remaining olive oil for sauce, add chopped garlic stir for a while then add tomato puree and mix.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Add dried basil and oregano mix well. Cook for 2 minutes. Sauce is ready.
  9. Preheat the oven for about 15 minutes at 200°C.
  10. Grease the baking tray with olive oil and dust with some flour.
  11. Now take the dough. Cut it into equal portions. Take a portion ( you can store the remaining portion for later) and roll it using your hand or with a rolling pin.
  12. Make a big size round shaped pizza base and place it on the greased pizza baking tray.
  13. Prick the pizza base with a fork.
  14. Then spread the pizza sauce allover it first.
  15. Put the process cheese slices on it ( optional)
  16. Now put the topping ingredients allover it. Including basil leaves.
  17. Sprinkle salt, Italian seasoning, mixed herbs, red chilli flakes.
  18. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese on top.
  19. Bake it at 200°C for about 12 to 13 minutes.
  20. Sprikle with oregano and Serve hot.
