Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 6bread slices (white/brown)
  2. 3 medium size Potatoes boiled peeled and mashed
  3. 1/4 cup boiled green peas
  4. 1tsp oil
  5. 1/2tsp cumin seeds
  6. Salt to taste
  7. 1/4 tea spoon red chilli powder (or to taste)
  8. 1/2 tea spoon chat masala
  9. 1tbsp chopped coriander
  10. 1tsp green chilli -ginger paste
  11. Oil for fry

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a frying pan and add cumin seed. Now add green chili and ginger paste and stir for few second
  2. Now add mashed potatoes and all spices and stir fry for a minute. Turn off the heat.
  3. Trim the edges of the bread slices.
  4. Dip one side of a slice of the bread lightly in the water. Place the slice between your palms and press, squeezing out the excess water. This makes the bread moist
  5. Place the filling in the center of this bread and mold the bread to completely cover it all around, giving an oval shape. Before frying let them sit for about five minutes
  6. Heat the oil in a frying pan and drop the rolls slowly into it fry the bread rolls untill they are golden brown turning occasionally.
  7. Serve with sauces and chatni.
