Aloo poha is a quick and easy breakfast recipe. Kids love this recipe

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 2cup pressed rice
  2. 2 boiled and potato
  3. 1chopped onion
  4. 2chopped green chilli ( add when your child eat them)
  5. 2tbsp oil
  6. 1/2 tea spoon mustard seeds
  7. salt to taste
  8. 1/6 spoon turmeric powder
  9. 1/6 spoon red chili powder
  10. 3-4 curry leaves
  11. 2tbsp chopped green coriander (add if your child eat coriander)
  12. 1/2 spoon lemon juice


  1. Take a bowl and put poha now sprinkle a bit of water on the poha and keep aside for 15 minutes.Now Heat oil in a pan over medium flame. Put mustard seeds and curry leaves fry for 30-40 seconds. Once the mustard seeds start splutter, add onion stir fry till they become golden
  2. Now add chopped and boiled potatoes and salt, turmeric powder and red chili powder stir fry the ingredients for a minute.
  3. Add squeeze dry the poha and add to the pan. Stir to mix well.
  4. Now add lemon juice and mix them. Now stwitched off the flame.
  5. Transfer it to a serving bowl or plate garnish with coriander leaves. And serve hot.
