Healthy and tasty oil free veg burger with enriched vegetables

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Burger bun
  2. Onion
  3. Tomato
  4. Carrot,potato,peas
  5. Mayonnaise sauce,toamto sauce
  6. Coriander powder,chilli powder,turmeric powder,garam masala powder,jeera powder
  7. Ginger garlic paste,jeera
  8. butter
  9. Corn flour,breadcrumbs for coating

Instructions

  1. FOR COOKING VEG PATTY Rinse and cook the veggies(carrot,peas,potato ) in a pressure cooker for 3-4 whistles.Once cooked,drain well the veggies.Make sure there should be no water in it.Mash the veggies slightly
  2. FOR MAKING VEG PATTY Heat 1 tsp butter in a pan.Add jeera,ginger garlic paste,onion.Saute well till the onions turns light brown
  3. Add the mashed veggies.Add 1/2 tsp coriander powder,1/2 tsp jeera powder,1/2 tsp chilli powder,1/2 tsp garam masala powder,a pinch of turmeric powder.Stir and mix the spices well
  4. Switch off the flame.Add coriander leaves for flavour.Add salt.Check for the spices.Adjust it as per requirement.Let it cool down for sometime
  5. Add 2tsp of corn flour and 3tsp of breadcrumbs.Stir and mix well.
  6. PREPARING VEG PATTY Make the veg Patty as same as the size of the burger bun.Coat well the Patty in a cornflour both the sides.
  7. Place the coated Patty on the breadcrumbs.Coat it evenly.
  8. PAN FRYING VEG PATTY Heat 2 tsp of butter in a pan.Place the coated veg Patty over it.When the base is light browned,flip the Patty and fry for few seconds.Flip both the sides again till the patties are pan fried evenly and becomes crispy
  9. VEG BURGER STUFFING Slice the burger bun in equal halves.Heat a pan.Spread some Butter.Toast the bun both the sides.Now spread mayonnaise sauce on one side,tomato sauce on other side
  10. Place veg Patty over the mayonnaise sauce.Place the sliced veggies( onion slice,tomato slice,cucumber slice) over the Patty.Now cover it with the tomato sauce coated bun
  11. Now oil free VEG BURGER is ready to serve.Serve it with tomato sauce.
