These buns stuffed with potato are quite tempting.kids as well as adults would love this.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Refined flour 1 cup
  2. Yeast 3/4 tea spoon
  3. Sugar 1 tea spoon
  4. Milk 1/3 cup + 2 table spoons( for brushing on top of buns)
  5. Olive oil 4 table spoons
  6. Salt to taste
  7. For stuffing:Boiled potatoes 4
  8. Chopped Onions 1/4 Cup
  9. Turmeric 1/4 tea spoon
  10. Ginger garlic paste 1 tea spoon
  11. Chopped Green Chillies 2
  12. Minced coriander 1/4 cup
  13. Minced Curry leaves 1 table spoon
  14. Garam masala 1 tea spoon

Instructions

  1. Take warm milk( not hot) in a bowl,add sugar and yeast to it.Let this rest for 10 minutes ( for yeast proofing)
  2. Now take refined flour in a large bowl,add salt,frothy yeast mixture and some oil to it.
  3. Mix it well to form a dough and rest the dough for 2 hours
  4. Mean while prepare the stuffing.Heat oil in a pan.Add chopped onions,curry leaves and sauté it
  5. Add green chillies,ginger garlic paste,turmeric,salt to it .
  6. Now add mashed potatoes,garam masala, coriander to it.Mix it well and the stuffing is ready.
  7. Pre heat microwave at 200 degrees Celsius
  8. Take the dough and make it in to small balls of equal sizes
  9. Take each ball flatten it with hands and stuff potato mixture in to it and seal it by bringing the ends together
  10. Place these buns on the tray and rest it for 10 minutes.
  11. Now put these buns in to the pre heated microwave at 200 degrees and bake it for 20 minutes
  12. Brush the buns with milk in between the baking.This gives soft and shiny texture to the buns
  13. Baking time varies for each microwave.
  14. Once the buns are golden brown in colour it is ready to serve hot
