When we think of muffins a sweet little cake comes in our minds and children love it very much we know ,but give a little twist , put herbs and little cheese in it , they will like the flavour as it will resemble their favourite pizza .

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1 cup maida
  2. 1/2 tea spoon baking soda
  3. 1/8 tea spoon baking powder
  4. 1 egg
  5. 50 grams processed cheese
  6. 3/4 cup plain butter milk
  7. 1 1/2 tea spoon mixed herbs
  8. 2 table spoon butter
  9. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Pre heat oven at 180 degree celsius
  2. Sieve all the dry ingredients
  3. Beat butter and butter milk with the help of an electric beater
  4. Add the egg and beat well
  5. Add the sieved dry ingredients gradually add mix with a spatula
  6. Add the mixed herbs and mix it well
  7. Now add the grated cheese into it
  8. Grease the muffin moulds with butter
  9. Fill one third of the mould with the batter and tap the mould to release the air bubbles if any
  10. Bake it at 160 degree Celsius for 30 minutes
  11. Salty mixed herbs muffins are ready to serve
