ABOUT Jeera Aloo RECIPE

An irresistible potato dish made from jeera seeds. So easy to make and so delicious.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 3-4 Potatoes boiled and peeled
  2. 1 tsp - Turmeric powder
  3. 1 tbsp - Jeera seeds
  4. 1 tbsp - Fresh Coriander chopped (optional)
  5. 2 tbsp - Oil/ghee
  6. 1 tsp - lemon juice
  7. Sendha Namak/Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Chop the boiled potatoes into cubes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add the jeera seeds. Once they crackle, add the potatoes.
  3. Add turmeric powder, lemon juice and salt.
  4. Mix well and cook for 2-3 mins.
  5. Garnish with the finely chopped coriander.
  6. Serve hot with roti.
