Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Cherry 2 cups
  2. Butter 3 teaspoons
  3. Sugar 2 cups
  4. Honey 1/3 cup
  5. Baking soda 1/4 teaspoon
  6. Water 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Chop the cherries into little pieces.
  2. Roast the cherries in a pan for 3 minutes.
  3. Add 2 teaspoons of butter in the pan.
  4. When the butter melts add 1 cup sugar, 1/3 cup honey and 2 teaspoons of water. Keep the flame low and wait for the sugar to caramelize.
  5. Add baking soda to the caramel and mix well.
  6. Add the chopped cherries to the caramel and mix thoroughly.
  7. Pour this mixture on greased aluminium foil and allow it to come to room temperature.
  8. Keep this in the freezer for 7 hours.
  9. Pick out the cherries from the caramel.
  10. In a pan add 1 teaspoon of butter. When the butter melts add 1 cup sugar and 2 teaspoons of water. Wait for it to caramelize.
  11. Add the cherries to the caramel and mix well.
  12. Again pour this on a greased aluminium foil and allow it to cool just a little.
  13. Butter your hands, take a little amount of the warm candy and give it a round shape.
  14. Make all the candies like this and treat your little ones with homemade sweet delicacies.
