Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 carrot shredded fine
  2. 4-5 broccoli pieces shredded
  3. 2 large onions sliced fine
  4. 1 green chilli chopped fine
  5. Salt to taste
  6. 4-5 spoons oil
  7. 2 cups dosa batter
  8. 2 cups cooked food dal
  9. 1 large tomato
  10. 4 spoons dhania
  11. 4 spoons cumin
  12. 2 spoons Chana dhal
  13. 2 spoons fennel / saunf
  14. 2 large red chilli dried
  15. 1 carrot chopped
  16. 2 spoons tamarind paste
  17. 4 cups water

Instructions

  1. To make sambar take a pan add oil and fry dhania, cumin, Chanda and red chilli well for 5 minutes
  2. Powder in a blender and sambar powder is ready
  3. Take a pan and heat oil and add slices onions, and sauté well
  4. Add fennel seeds and chopped tomato
  5. Let this cook and add the sambar powder
  6. Add water and let this cook for 5 mins
  7. When the vegetables are boiling add salt and cooked toot dal
  8. Add the tamarind paste and yummy sambar is ready
  9. Take the shredded carrot add a bit of salt and little chilli and mix well
  10. Take diss batter and make small uthappam add carrot mix and cook well carrot uthappam is ready. Sprinkle a bit of sambar positive while making uthappam
  11. Follow similar steps for broccoli uthappam and onion uthappam
