ABOUT Mint Lemon Chutney... RECIPE

An easy peasy chutney or dip that goes well with almost anything right from South Indian food to Street style food or even as a spread on breads and chapatis. It is in short a versatile one and can be stored for a week or little more if kept refrigerated. Serve this as a spread on bread along with cucumber slices placed on it for a delicious instant sandwich that is not only yummy but also is quick and easy to make. Happy Blending People!

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. mint leaves chopped 2 cups
  2. coriander leaves chopped 1 cup
  3. lemon Juice 1/4 cup
  4. garlic cloves 2
  5. cumin seeds 1 tsp
  6. green chillies 3
  7. oil 1 tbsp
  8. salt to taste


  1. Saute garlic cloves, cumin seeds and green chillies in a tablespoon of oil for 2 minutes.
  2. Add them to the blender jar along with the remaining ingredients.
  3. Blend until smooth and done. Use little water as required.
  4. Serve it with Dosas,Idlis,Uttappam,Samosas,Chaats and Kachoris. It can even be used as a spread on breads and rotis.
